Uses - who should use it / Who shouldn't use it ?

Pre-workout offers an escalated blood circulation preparing you for exercise faster. Shorten your warm up load and protect your energy levels.  Individual preference / comfort is user designated. The compression should not be a painful experience. We suggest a starting point of 180 mmHg - which you can adjust on the fly (increase / decrease as required).

Post-workout offers possibly the most benefit to users. Once again compression speeds blood circulation - meaning that toxic waste (Lactic Acid) is removed more quickly from our system. This in turn assists in a quicker return to performance. Recovery is best achieved soon after performance. The system by default sets to 30 minutes. This is plenty of time for first time users. Recommended pressure 180 mmHg. Recommended programme - Mode E or F on the 4 and 6 chamber plug in units. OR with the portable unit - Mode C or D. If at any point the squeeze is uncomfortable - reduce pressure. You can switch off at the wall / unit itself at any time. Keep the control unit within reach of user in this case.

When NOT to use Body IQ Recovery compression:

Compression Recovery is not a toy. Under no circumstance should you use compression - (elevated blood circulation) if you are light headed, dizzy, concussed or have any of the risk factors listed below. If you are unsure please seek advice

from your medical practitioner. The system has an easy shut off switch if at any point you feel uncomfortable. Make sure control unit is easily accessible during use.

Do not use if you have any of the following conditions:

· Acute infections (sickness - body already under stress)

· Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) - Pain/swelling.
